SMS Messaging Terms of Service
- SEMCO Management, Inc. may contact you via text message to provide customer service, benefits, payroll, billing and human resources communications only as needed.
- By initiating a text message to SEMCO, you are providing consent based on the action. You will receive a confirmation text that a message was received and that you have automatically been enrolled in the Messaging Service and will be provided the options to “opt-out” at any time.
- Communications received from SEMCO will include possible personal information such as billing numbers, benefits, financial topics such as pay statements, retirement benefits, payroll topics and other general business-related topics. All information collected will be stored in a confidential matter and will not be released without a written approval or legal order is received.
- SEMCO will not share or sell your Personal Information with third parties received through the opt in process.
- Messaging frequency will vary; however most messages would be sent on an “as needed” basis not to exceed five (5) outgoing messages per day, except if additional messages are requested by the other party.
- You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text “STOP”, “END” or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to the short code. After you send the SMS message “STOP”, “END”, or “UNSUBSCRIBE” to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed from the campaign. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from the campaign. If you want to join again, just reply with words such as “START” OR “YES”.
- You can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or you can get help directly by contacting the SEMCO office at (760) 643-4032 or (800) 327-3626 within the U.S. if you are experiencing issues with the messaging program
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
- As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
