SEMCO Management, Inc. (“SEMCO,” “we,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This SMS Messaging Privacy Policy (“Policy”) governs how we collect and use information in connection with SEMCO’s text messaging service (“Messaging Service”), which is used solely for customer service, benefits, payroll, billing, and human resources communications.
By using the Messaging Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. SEMCO reserves the right to modify this Policy at any time. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this page. Changes are effective upon posting and supersede any prior versions. Your continued use of the Messaging Service following any posted changes constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
Collection of Information
Information such as your name, phone number, and email address may be collected through the “Contact Us” form at semcoleasing.com/about-us/contact-us/.
Through your use of the Messaging Service, we may receive Personal Information via our third-party service provider. “Personal Information” means information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number, any feedback you send regarding the Messaging Service, or other information you choose to include in messages you send to us. When you send messages via the Messaging Service, we will also collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages.
Use of Information
We use Personal Information collected through the Messaging Service solely to deliver, analyze, maintain, and support the Messaging Service, and to respond to your inquiries.
SEMCO does not send marketing or promotional SMS messages. Our text messaging program is limited exclusively to operational and service communications.
Sharing of Information
SEMCO will not rent or sell your Personal Information to other companies or individuals. We will not share your information with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
We may only use or disclose Personal Information in the following limited circumstances:
- With your consent.
- As necessary to enforce our Terms of Service.
- With service providers who process information strictly on our behalf and in compliance with this Policy, subject to appropriate confidentiality obligations.

Protection of Information
SEMCO takes physical, technical, administrative, and organizational security measures to protect your Personal Information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss. No online transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Your information will travel through third-party infrastructures (such as carrier networks and SMS delivery platforms) not under our control. By using the Messaging Service, you agree that SEMCO is not liable for any unintentional disclosure.
Children and Intended Audience
The Messaging Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. SEMCO does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. Users aged 13 or older must have parental permission to use the Messaging Service. Use of the Messaging Service is limited to U.S. residents only.
Retention of Information
We retain your Personal Information for as long as you participate in the Messaging Service or as needed to comply with applicable legal obligations. We will also retain information as necessary to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
Choices and Controls
You may opt out of receiving text messages at any time by replying “STOP” to any message from us. SEMCO will automatically unsubscribe you from the Messaging Service following separation from employment. A new consent form will be required upon re-hire.
