SEMCO Management, Inc. was founded in 1970 by Dan’s grandfather, Leonard Ellis. What began as a forward-thinking workforce management concept grew into a trusted resource for businesses across California and Arizona.
In 1994, Dan’s father, David Ellis, took the helm — continuing the family’s commitment to serving business owners and their employees with integrity and care.
When Dan Ellis stepped into the presidency in 2018, he carried that legacy forward. Three generations. One mission. Helping businesses grow by taking the complexity of workforce management off their plate.
